The Mooring Restaurant is excited to announce that they will be expanding their catering business as well as incorporating an Event Coordinator to ensure your event is flawless in every aspect.
Good food is the glue that holds a successful event together. Whether it’s a company party, a wedding or an intimate dinner with friends and family, people tend to socialize around food.
This is why The Mooring Restaurant is the perfect choice for any event, as we take such pride in making that special event memorable in every aspect. Charlie Santangelo will take whatever time is necessary to make you excited about your event and menu selections. Our Event Coordinator, Mary Beth Kelley will take part in making sure that all the details are covered, from the smallest to the most important. The only thing we ask you to do is enjoy your event from the beginning to end.
The Mooring Restaurant has been honored to have catered many off-premise events Every April the team at The Mooring Restaurant trucks up to The Middleburg Races and caters a spectacular presentation under the largest tent while hundreds enjoy incredible food and the best view of the track. In addition, The Mooring has catered off-premise weddings at The General Ridge’s Vineyard and some overlooking the Yeocomico River as well as Christmas parties for Sonabank and The Bank of Lancaster. No event is too big or small for The Mooring to come to you.
The Mooring has also hosted many events on premise as well. Last year Mark & Carley Brubaker-Walker were married at Port Kinsale Marina and we were able to help them plan their event from the very start. From the beautiful Carley landing by helicopter in the fields of Port Kinsale Marina to the hundreds of guest witnessing them exchange their vows on the beautiful point at the marina overlooking the Yeocomico River, the day could not have been more perfect.
The Mooring has hosted fashion shows featuring Alan Furs and Santangelo & Sandridge to benefit the Haven, numerous rehearsal dinners, retirement parties and surprise parties. All of which were turned out to be great success.
